Albatross by Peter Illiffe

I was walking up to the trade stands at the Nats on Saturday and passed Peter Illiffe who was taking out from his car the part built fuslage of his new Albatros. Quality work.

Thanks to Peter for letting me take some snaps of this excellent build. Monocoupe construction, no formers! Whilst the elevator and rudder are built from carbon stock and tows the actual fittings to the tailplane are miniaturised versions of the original.

I look forward to seeing the model when it is finished.
