Just a quick heads up about the nearest thing we have to an aeromodelling shop in this area.

It's called Glendale Junction, a shop that caters primarily for model railway enthusiasts, but has a decent stock of other modelling necessities. If you need something in a rush and don't fancy a trip to that emporium of lightness and good will in Huntingdon and dear old Geoff Stubbs is shut, then by all means take a shufti at this one. Glendale Junction is on New Row in Market Deeping (Deeping St James) and is here:

New Row runs between Maharanis riverside Indian restaurant and the Spalding road just East of Terry Wright Cycles

They do balsa wood, glues, wire, almost anything you need in the way of building materials. they can order stuff from the likes of Ripmax, J perkins etc. if we use them enough, they may even get in stuff to meet our more specialised needs.
